Cianbro provided pre-construction and construction management services on this 54,000 sf, 21-bed state-of-the-art patient centered healthcare facility in western Maine. 

Project Details

• Provided pre-construction services including constructability reviews, budget and schedule preparation, request for proposal preparation and subcontractor pre-qualification and selection
• Managed and coordinated all construction activities including project safety, quality, cost and schedule

The new facility: 

• Is the first new community hospital constructed in Maine in over 20 years
• Includes an inpatient wing with 21 spacious private patient rooms with bathroom and overnight guest sofa with exterior views and common healing garden
• Includes an 8,500 sf outpatient/clinic wing
• Includes a diagnostic and treatment wing including a set-up for a mobile MRI unit
• Includes an emergency wing and associated helipad
• Includes a surgical wing with 2 operating rooms
• Includes a health services wing with cafeteria
• Includes a business/administration wing
