Cianbro's Maine-made refinery expansion modules have created quite a spectacle as they've rolled down the main thoroughfare in the coastal Texan town of Port Arthur. The massive modules were unloaded from the barge, Columbia Boston, in about half the time that had been set aside. As of Thursday, April 23rd, one module was already fastened down on the pad at the Motiva refinery.

The ocean going tug, Emma Foss, delivered her cargo of four Maine-made Cianbro modules to the heavy duty pier in Port Arthur, Texas this afternoon at 2:30 EDT, 1:30 local time. The tug and the barge, Columbia Boston, completed the journey 26 days after leaving Brewer, Maine, with the 1,500 ton load of refinery modules.

Congratulations to the team members at the Kibby Wind Power Project, who are constructing a new 115 kV transmission line and substation in northwestern Maine. The team has completed the first four miles of a 27.6-mile project, with conductors in place.

After a voyage that has lasted nearly four weeks, the tug and barge carrying the first four Cianbro refinery modules to leave the Eastern Manufacturing Facility in Brewer, Maine, are scheduled to arrive at their destination in Texas on Tuesday, April 21.

Cianbro team members and Eastern Maine Medical Center officials gathered on the hospital campus recently to celebrate the completion of heavy construction at EMMC's new parking garage. CEO Peter Vigue offered words of thanks to the Cianbro team, while hospital representatives spoke highly of the job that team members had done throughout a tough Maine winter. The new garage will provide much-needed convenience for patients, visitors and hospital employees alike.
