Scope of Work
Cianbro was a part of constructing one of the largest landfill processing plants in the world.  The nearby landfill, that supplies the methane gas, is one of the largest landfills in the United States.  The Landfill Gas Production of the project totals approximately 7,200 scfm.

Project Details
  • Supplied, fabricated and installed the large bore and small bore piping systems in the compressor building
  • Set five (5) gas compressors
  • Installed the process equipment 
  • Installed a 17 ft tall knock-out scrubber tank
  • Installed a 21 x 9 ft gas dryer skid
  • Installed a 15 ft x 15 ft fiberglass water storage tank
  

Unique Challenge



The project had a very fast paced schedule.  Building construction and electrical components were congruent with Cianbro’s mechanical work. In addition, Cianbro prefabricated 75% of large bore pipe off site during the building construction. The project was completed successfully and on time.
