Cianbro rehabilitated the existing combination highway/bridge and movable dam structure across the Mohawk River.

Project Details

• Removed and replaced 170 tons of structural steel including a portion of the roadside truss lower chord, chord members, and chord lacing, bottom laterals, gusset plates, and floorbeams
• Demolished the existing deck
• Removed existing timber, asphalt deck, and deck framing
• Installed a steel and concrete composite exodermic deck system
• Placed 180 cy of light weight, high-performance concrete
• Performed mechanical repairs
