Scope of Work
Cianbro was the Engineer, Procure and Construct (EPC) Contractor for the 115/34.5 kV substation.

Project Details
  • Managed the design, subcontractors and procurement of all equipment
  • Installed a new 115/34.5 kV substation and new modular control house
  • Performed all civil, mechanical and electrical work
  • Was responsible for checkout, start-up, and commissioning
  • Installed all structure foundations
  • Was responsible for the erection of substation structures
  • Installed circuit breakers, disconnects, bus works, 115/34.5 kV transformers and a 3 ring bus
  • Was responsible for the precast cable trench
  • Installed security fencing
  • Provided 12 miles of 24 fiber optical ground wire on a 34.5 kV sub-transmission line from Powersville Substation to Weldon Hydro in Northern, Maine including: wire installation, splicing, testing and certification
