Scope of Work
Cianbro is the Construction Manager for the 273,200 gsf MRO Hangar. The Laurentian MRO facility will be the first MRO facility of its kind in the United States.

  • Performing preconstruction services
  • Actively involved with the design development team 
  • Coordinating construction phase options and value analysis alternates
  • Evaluating utility relocations
  • Assisting with State and Local permitting and construction permits
  

Unique Challenge



Automation technology will play a significant role in the construction of this facility starting with complete BIM modeling during design and the incorporation of building automation systems to create a state-of-the-art facility. Upon completion, the facility will employ approximately 800 people, performing MRO work on wide body aircraft.
