Digger Derrick Operator - Power & Energy

Job Responsibilities- Safe operation of a variety of transmission equipment i.e. digger derrick, bucket trucks, wire pulling equipment.
- Maintain knowledge for use of auxiliary equipment to prepare, locate, install, schedule, set and remove poles.
- Responsible for daily inspection of equipment and performing basic repair and maintenance as needed to ensure the safe working condition of all equipment.
- Read and understand various types of load charts.
- Maintain a clean work environment.
Qualifications/ Requirements - Minimum of 3 years of experience as a heavy equipment operator.
- Knowledge of operation and maintenance of a variety of heavy construction vehicles and equipment.
- Knowledge of principles and practices of routine and preventative maintenance of heavy construction vehicles and equipment.
- Knowledge of safe load securing practices/rigging experience is a plus.
- Understanding of hand signals.
- NCCER certification is a plus.
- CDL A license.
