Mechanical Foreman - Infrastructure

Job Responsibilities- Coordinate with Superintendent and Project Management to organize crew, materials, and equipment to achieve the highest productivity and quality and lowest cost in line with the budget.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of assigned craft workers.
- Responsible for the safety of the crew and willing to conduct all operations in accordance with all company and government safety rules.
- Responsible for the communication of safety concerns, work scope, plans, and schedules to leadmen and crews.
- Read blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
- Install, align, dismantle, rig, and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to layout plans.
- Analyze production results and establish appropriate corrective actions, if required.
Qualifications/ Requirements- 10 years of experience as a millwright in a heavy industrial environment.
- A minimum of 5 years of crew supervision experience.
- Experience identifying, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment issues including bearings, chains, sprockets, gearboxes, open gears, conveyors, rollers, pulleys, and shafts.
- Must have experience using hand tools, power tools, hoists, jacks, squares, rules, scales, laser alignment machines, optical levels, and plumb bobs.
- Must be proficient in using precision tools such as inside & outside micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators.
- Ability to demonstrate thorough knowledge and skill to perform all essential functions of craft workers under his/her supervision.
- Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions and communicate effectively with craft workers under his/her supervision and management/supervision.
- Ability to safely operate equipment in a heavy industrial environment.
- NCCER Certification.
- Rigging Experience is a plus.
