Cianbro removed and replaced 800 tubes in the form of panels, performing over 1,600 composite tube welds, with 100 percent X-ray acceptance.

Cianbro's project team staged a "fabrication shop" in the basement of the boiler with clamping sawhorses and mounted bench grinders, allowing for Lean fabrication and preparation of tube panels to be installed. Pre-made sponges and purge cups were procured to allow for a more Lean FME and documentation system during wall preparation.
