In August 2025, Cianbro’s Industrial & Manufacturing (IDM) market was awarded a project for the repair of existing dam canal walls and headgate piers for Lockhart Power Company. Lockhart Power is a small regional electrical utility owned by Greenville, South Carolina, investment firm Pacolet Milliken.

Cross Town Energy Storage is a lithium-ion battery energy storage project in Gorham, Maine, that provides energy and capacity services, increasing the reliability and availability of energy to the New England electric grid. Plus Power, a Texas-based company founded in 2018, awarded Cianbro the energy storage project in 2022.

In 2011, something inspiring began at Cianbro.
